Mrs. Willy Mammoth,
I tried to get a pic of the paint, but it was real overcast today and they weren't really coming out well.
It got pretty shiny, but I am dissappointed because the final shot with the buffer I used Meguires Pro swirl remover and it didn't get rid of the swirls, it just made them all even.  I don't know if I can get this tractor paint to really finish well, so I may try a different tactic.  We will see...like my stickers?

Then I drilled some holes and mounted my lights and bolted the winch on.  Nothing wired yet, but it looks kool.

Cool! Did you try hand rubbing with the maguires? Sometimes that's what it takes to get rid of the swirls. (did a bunch of detailing too).

Yup, I am much happier with the elecricals now...it was no wonder i couldn't get a good connection on the + terminal...

edit:  I think they are  lined up as well as Cookie Monster eyes!

Found some cheapo LEDs to use for turn signals...I know they should be yellow but,  meh...they were cheap...but where to mount them?

Don't know...but it is KS...they don't care either!

edit: I may look around for yellow ones and use these reds on the back when I build the rear bumper.

I got about half of it done...I had to run some errands yesterday and my back is on FIRE so work was cut short after the lighting extravaganza.

In KS you are not allowed to have any other color of light emitting from the front of your vehicle but white or yellow.

Now..................If you get stopped for it thats a different story.  If you run into a cop who is looking for PC to pull you over, that would be his PC.  During the daytime or early evening during the week, probablly not much of a worry.  Late night and on a weekend, then you may get stopped.

ypu it is very illegal to have anything otehr than white or amber up front..... to the point of not only beinc illegal, but they might say your impersonating an emergency vehicle, as they ar ethe only ones allowed to have red towards the front
