One problem, crossmember is so bashed and tweaked that I could only get 3 bolts back in.  Guess what I will be ordering this week.

Yup, you got it!
I am hoping the next day or two it will ease up so I can get the rest of the bolts in the cluch housing and the starter and slave cylinder installed.  I just can't crawl under there right now.

Well I got the IFS torsion bars in...they are smaller diameter than I expected, which I think is a good thing.  I am still working it out in my mind, but I think I have a plan.

Does anyone know if you can remove the torsion bar from this round housing/mount it sets in, or do I have to cut it off?

Now for the problems, I got one of the sides of the hawse mounted up, when my welder blew that fuse again, so I put in a new fuse and soon as I struck an arc it blew again.  I think that this might be the end, thus I am now in the market for a new welder.  snif snif..

I made a quick decision...I ordered one of those clark 130's...next step up in bottom of the barrel welders.  Little more power, the option for a bottle, and a 2yr warrantee.  My reasoning: I still don't want to spend a bunch on a 110 welder, welding depot had them on special, between the two welders I still haven't spent as much as a Hobart 125.  I will of course give a nice review of the welder including comparisons with the HF model when I get it.
