They required a lot of reshaping, drilling, made a bunch of brackets...that kind of thing.

CTENG in KS

I had them sitting in the shed...figured what the hell, give it a shot.  Used to have a Cherokee...only kept it a couple months...jeeps are junk.  Sorry, no closeups.

I work with welders quite a lot in a shipyard and they have a horrible job.  Most of them don't have the equipment at home to play with so they can't even have fun with it.  Keep it a hobby.

you better plate the frame where those towers go on at, and make sure you weld those holes in the middle as well.  i just put the ford towers on the front and rear of my toy, they work great.  i have fullwidth, so i was able to angle the front shocks like this /  \  as well and tilted back some.

good luck with everything

oh ya, those fenders. . . . .im not a fan.

Sorry you don't like the fenders, the towers are fully braced in the back.

I haven't got to that yet...
Got the truck moving and such, and added another leaf to my overly soft rear packs...still soft, but firmer now.
Still to go, everything.

Earlier on you said you were considering designs for a traction bar, here's a pic of mine.

And i gotta agree with the other guys, those fenders just look Wrong!...I know you put alot of work into making them fit and all, but i would almost be willing to send you some spare Toy ones you could cut on just to make your Toy look better. No offense, just my  :twocents:

P.S. I'm building my own fender flares, will post pics when their done.

I still have my toy fenders...but the reaction seems to be priceless...oh, and once I figure out what I am going to do with the grill area I will be trimming a bunch of material off the fenders in the front.  Interested to see what you come up with for fenders, I need to build some coverage into the back still.

I didn't want to drill into the crossmember and weaken it, so I went the route of the bracket, which also gave me a slightly higher mount position.  I will prob slide a piece of tube in there later on.

Very high pressure in these things...they gave me almost 1/2 inch of lift...prob would have been more if I had mounted them straight up and down...I got a whole lot of body roll though...front and rear, real bad.

It looks like (to me) your going to need bigger boggers.

I gotta wait for everything to settle in and settle down, but I think the truck is set up perfectly for some 37's.
I am thinking maybe the 37X13.5 Maxis Crawlers or Trepadors.   :yesnod:

Not positive I wanna stay with boggers...lack of lateral traction.   :rivers:

Truck looks awesome with the exception of the Jeep fenders  :reg: , you have to get some Toyota fiberglass to finish the truck  :yesnod: .
