i had cryoed longs, a dual ultimate, and bald 35's!  it was locked front and rear, and it was snowing.  but that was like 4 yars ago, it has changed a lot since then.

Hyena

it could be my TG pump.  turned it on again today and it still wined.  but there is still air in the system since i can see little bubbles in fluid.  then it started to smoke from the pump i think, so i shut if off. i am getting sick of this thing.

Ramrod

dont be a girl, finish the other stuff and worry about the little things later.  that free valve might be a bust

Hyena

dude, there isn't much left to do.  the front axle should be together by monday, if i get the u-joint in the mail by this weekend.  then it is just brake lines, front bumps which i have, and coild overs.  not to mention find out whats wrong with the steering.

slorunner85

dude my trail gear pump sounds like its trying to skin a cat its brand new.trail gear says normal i say crap.they said theyd take it back, anyone ive talked to says they're noisy too.

Hyena

sounds like a regular pump with no fluid in it!

KYOTA

have you tried taking the cylinder off the axle and letting it hang by the hoses fittings up overnight? never know it took me along time to get all the air out of mine.  :twocents:

Hyena

the ram is the lowest point of the system anyway and the fittings do point up!  i will mess with it more tomarrow.

Ramrod

does it steer?  your motor still runs?

kiyul4130

ditch that thing and throw in a KRC pump brad. it will basically bolt right in. you can get the pump and a 3.17 gpm flow valve for like $190. thats what me, callen and colby all run.

KYOTA FOREVER

Hyena

im gonna run it till it blows.  it steers fine but that is with the tires off.   now the problem is the damn tryck won't start.  fired it up like 3 times this morning testing the steering.  then went to start it up again and it turns over a little and starts clicking.  wow just wow, what else can go wrong?

Hyena

it starts now, guess the battery is lasting too long.

ya it should be done by the hammer for sure.  hopefully have it on a run before that to test it out.  it just needs coil overs now.  got the brakes in the mail and need to build the bump stops but that is easy stuff.

the bumpstops need a little adjustment so they aren't done yet.  and the steering is way messed up.  i am pretty sure the pump almost burned to the ground it got so hot in only a minute of running.  it is at full bump in the front and about ride height in the rear.

Thanks!  Ya the brake at work isn't as precise as what ballistic has but it gets the job done!
