Figured this was a good time to throw out a quick reminder: Now's the best time to go through your rig and take care of anything that might turn into a problem later. The last place you want to find a weak point is miles from camp.

Common stuff we always see this time of year:

• Worn wheel bearings starting to get noisy
• Knuckles or axles that have begun leaking
• CV boots throwing grease
• Differentials needing to be serviced
• Steering components with play
• Suspension parts that have sagged during winter storage
• Brake/clutch lines due for replacements
