I finally have the exhaust manifold gaskets buttoned back up with no leaks...koolness...
so I got to werking on the inside again.  I have the sound mat in on the passenger side and if I get the dr side done tomorrow morning then I think I will have the front carpet section in tomorrow.

The Beastmaster did not want to feel inadequate next to the diesel rigs, so I bought it a present...all 5 inches of it is polished stainless!
(Exhaust is gonna be single 3-inch).
I am thinking positioning it around here:

Current stuff is 2.25 with cherry bombs...I would have to run an H pipe or crossover if a stuck with duals.  This should be just about perfect for a stock BB...

I know the feeling, the Toyota I just bought is a trash bin inside. Still finding stuff, belonged to a kid that just drove it and threw everything in the passenger side when he was done with it.

Ummm, just a guess here, but I'm betting jimbo means that he puts the garbage in the bags, in order to keep the trash from flying out of the open window onto the freeway :headshake:  and so that he can throw them out in a garbage can :headshake:

CTENG, that carpet is looking good.  that is going to be a huge improvment when you're done.  :yesnod:

Well the current bench seat back there folds down into a bed, it was made for that short back too.  I think what I am gonna do is show off my seamstress skilz and recover it...just you wait...I am actually pretty damn good with needle and thread.

I like what you did with the console and tray, that's a cool color combination.

I started it up first time with all the new insulation and carpet...MUCH QUIETER!
Still a little loud, but will get better with new exhaust to kill rest of the leaks.
Took some more pictures...threw a seat back in so we can go Tuesday for registration.
Found these funky little rubber well washers to make for easy removal of the top part of the console...now to get the upholstery back on.

Man, I do not like how that center console turned out   Colors look good  , but I guess the pressed wood or whatever it is makes it look like the paint is all bubbly?  :dunno:   Could be the pictures I guess.
