I feel like a tard but here it is!


The Horrible clacking noise comming from the front of my engine was---


The Mechanical Fuel Pump



  I never thought about looking at that.

Marlin heard it while I was at his shop, put a Stethescope on everything and said he was almost positive that it was the pump.    The arm was worn and the spring was shot, so the noise was the lever flopping against the eccentric.


Now I hear a bunch of new noises.    hahaha

Ha...Marlin listened to that truck for about 2 seconds and said..."I bet its the fuel pump, hold on I have one in the shop I'll show you!"
He scampers off and comes back with a fuel pump and gives us the run down on where it is wearing out.

He is waaaaaay too good.

A couple of people were asking about the Aussie Locker:
       It performed fabulously.  In fact Two   up.

I was very happy with how the truck ran as well,  and the BFG's did awsome as well.

I am going to shoot my FAWKING engine!!

after the loud clacking that turned out to be the fuel pump.  there is still loud ass clicking, so I checked the valves tonight and the #3 exhaust cylinder could fit the .16" feeler in it.  I thought that would be it, but no.  This thing needs a freeking bullet!
