3 things wermz..

1.)   love the build  excited for what is to come..
2.)   No bobbed bed?? looks like your 1st mod might interfere? maybe relocate it??
3.)   I've seen this on many cars, and it has left me curious.. Being new to the whole "toyota" scene. (coming from jeeps) what is the purpose of the twin stick? is it to control the T-cases? without being on top? *noob question*

sick build keep it up!!!!!!
thanks
Yes I will have to relocate the first mod when that happens.
And Yes the twin stick will allow me to independently control 2wd and 4wd high and low.   It will give me more options while on the trail, and I like having the extra control.  Also if I go with a dual case down the road this will give me lots of gear choices,  (haven't decided on that yet, want to get the one in first)  :yesnod:

2wd low is a great thing to have. I ran most of the Rubicon in 2wd low. My spotter hates it though because in 2wd with my hubs locked my front driveshaft clicks. :talkingn:

The Plan

Very important question!

  • MC G54 Transmission with HD bearings, (Ive gone through 3 trannys in 18 months), Get it the t-case and crossmember installed and running!
  • Lift Kit, I have some MC parts.  going with the 4" Springs
  • 35's to start with
  • Lockers, and Gears
  • Bed will get bobbed once the lift is done and I know where the shackles will be!
  • I picked up an 86 rear axle that will be going in as well

These are the immediate plans/to do list

I do have some future wish list plans.

Exo.

:headscratch:  forget what else at the moment.

This is good to know.   I cant wait.     Gonna try and order my Marlin Transmission next week and get them all in at once, along with the budbuilt x-member.   Did you seal off the tranny tunnel after you put it in, or leave it open.  I'm trying to think of ideas on how to seal it up nice with the boot they give ya.
