A point for ya brainless.  I was just wondering if any of you guys have any idea what this is??  I figure its an adjustment for how high the idle goes when you turn on the ac but Im not sure.  Both the 90 and the 94 have it and they both have a/c so it makes sence at least.

The complete wireing harness is swapped, and I do mean complete the only wires from the 90 is the dome light and tail light harness!  I also got the dash swapped along with it so now I have a grey dash and a tach with a electronic speedo.  What a project, just about every plug is different from 90-94.  I also learned a valuable lesson on pulling re's.  Dont waste your time unplugging all the sensors from the engine.  Just unplug the short harness inside and pull it through the firewall, i wish i knew that when I pulled the 90's engine   That would have saved a LOT of time.

Oh yea I figured a way to get the 89 without trading off the tires & wheels off of the 94 too.  One of the trucks at the body shop has a wasted bed, and i do mean wasted as in the passenger rear is missing!  It just so happens that I was given a nice bed in trade for bobbin one for another buddy.  Damn Im good!

Cant find anything about that box. Did you try tracing any of the wires in the harness that goes to it?  Maybe it's some kind of speed control for the squirrels!!

Dont you wish brainless!  Actually they are gonna get scraped all to hell on the rocks of Goldendale!  I got think the dash looks better than the 90's, it doesnt look like theres a lot of difference but when you have them side by side they are very different!  I was also wondering if anyone know what brand of hedder this is?  Under all the baked on mud its a chrome tri-y, no emissions fitings at all, its also nice and heavy.

I would absolutely love to work in a 4x shop!!  Ill know sometime this week if a very good friend gets the proper papers to open one here in town   I hope like hell he gets it!!!

I am in the process of opening one in Moses Lake.  We have a place here that sells a bunch of bolt on crap that could be ordered anywhere.  I am looking more at gear swaps, axle swaps, spring overs, low gear conversions, Marlin Crawlers, cages and stuff like that.  I have 5000 square feet so that should be plenty to store all my Toyotas-I have all the ones that White Trash hasn't got...   Pretty much just going to start out part time as I will be doing custom painting and planetary gearbox repair and service for Genie Industries out of the shop also.  I'm pretty excited and hope this goes somewhere.  Lots of V8 rigs around due to having the sand dunes here and not a lot of Toyotas....but I'm looking to change that! 

On another note....this Saturday at 9:00 am is the Moses Lake Sand Dunes Cleanup, next Saturday at 10:00 am is the Beverly Sand Dunes Cleanup.  Contact me for info and directions.

That would be BAD A$$ to have a good shop somewhere halfway close (under 100 miles sheesh!)  The shop my friend might open will do basically the same as you are talking about, basic type stuff + custom fabwork.  If this happens we will be right in the center of town in my buddies exhaust shop. (hes selling out of it) There will be puite a bit of basic repair in the begining at least, but it will shurely expand puickly enough.  We'll see though   Good luck on your biz sounds like a good move.  Oh and if you need anyone lemme know!

The new crossmember is 3"x3" 1/4 wall.  I dont think its going anywhere!

Ummm was I supposed to?  Yes for some reason the frame isnt bent on this one.  Just for kicks I ran it on carfax, holy crap everything that came back had a big fat red warning flashing everywhere!  It has been totalled twice, has a previous salvage title, and yet another strike against it as I pulled it from the crusher once again!  Damn this thing was a hell of a wreck!  But whoever fixed it did a damned good job, ive been all over/ under/ around it and theres no structural damage except the passenger side behind the door.  And Ive already got that taken care of.  Now comes the fun part of pulling the fron suspension off of it tonight.

Whatever whenever about anytime is cool.   This saturday the front should be done, I sure hope it is.  So I can drop the engine in it!  Then ll the fun really starts!  Hacking the hell out of the floor!  Yee Haa!  Thats gonna be fun destroying a perfectly good truck just to go and roll it!

I got the front InferiorFaw&ingSuspension out today.  Those torsion bars are a real pain when the adjuster bolts are basically frozen to the nuts!!  I pulled them last night and called it a day.  My shoulders are burning today!!  But its out and the frame is all cleaned up waiting for the rest to be done.
