Heres the front hanger, I think it'll hold up to some real abuse.  I made the plates out of 1/4" but Im not nearly done with them!  Ill stand by the fact that I should never have an issue with strength when its done!

Heres the breakdown so far.  I sold the 94 frame for $110, I sold the 81 windshield to Kyota for $50, The same kid that bought the 94 is coming back friday for the radiator, tires and wheels off of the 94 too and a few other odds and ends.  Hes buying the wheels for $225, the rad for $60 and a bunch of misc item I havent priced yet so that puts me at$796 as of this minute.  By saturday Ill be at $511, maybe a bit lower who knows!  Hows that for a bargain gentlemen?

Ill sleep when Im dead!  Just remember if it wasnt for Mt dew I wouldnt get anything done sometimes.  Just ask Shawnb, caffiene is my friend!  I have the engine completely hooked up.  Everything is done except fluids and bolting the starter on, but I cant do that till the trans and cases are in it tomorrow.  I also made my perches for the rear, changed the master/ booster assembly to the 94 setup and cleaned a bunch of unused/ usless brackets etc. off the frame.  This weekend will be a big one.  Im hoping to have the floor cut, the rear perches installed, the crossmember and the drivelines built and maybe install the gastank.  Damn thats a lot to do but its all down hill from here!  I can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel now.

Oh hell ya!  I got the trans in tonight and hacked the floor out around it.  I like these later model floors they are much stronger than the older ones and you dont have to cut out nearly as much to tuck everything up flat.
I sold a mess of stuff today!  I sold a bunch of the 94 stuff, I sold the wheels and tires off of the 94, the hubs off the 94 and the rollbar out of the 81.  That means I got $300 for the 94 stuff rollbar included and $50 for the hubs.  That puts me at $446!!!!  Damn If I end up making $$ on this Im gonna freak out!

I got a bunch of little stuff done today. The engine compartment is done, all the little stuff under the hood is complete.  The hood and fenders are bolted on, no more falling off when a breeze blows!  I clearanced the core support un front of the tires.  The rear perches are in place, but not welded in 'till Im done with the suspension so I can set the correct pinion angle.  I started on the tunnel.  I got all the lights working, even the dope....I mean the dome light works!  Hell in my excitement of it actually starting I even washed it   Not much of a pic here but I like the look.  Thank you all for the kind words, yotaboy have a point, hell points all around!

in 82 they changed the grill and the lights from circles to squares and the 81 grill has 4 big squares in it and the 82-83 has about 5 or 6.   thats how you could tell the generations..  79-81 circle headlights and for 82-83 you get the square headlights.  Its not so hard brainless

Id make those Monster Garage sissys weep with my quality of booty fab!  I wanted to have the crossmember/skidplate done today but I ran out of stargon!  Dang, and Im not gonna build it with fluxcore cause it looks like crap and I just cant have that cause I plan on everyone seeing it at Calrocs, Im gonna have to paint it real purty so it no matter what Im keeping the shiny side up!  Ill have to find a bottle tomorrow and giterdone!

What the heck is impressive about my little buildup here?   Im just building this truck for as little cash as possible with what parts I can scrounge up.  I must admit I didnt ever dream that I would build it like it is turning out, but it is what it is and Im gonna beat the unholy crap out of it whan its done.

Ive got the crossmember/drivetrain skidplate cut out.  I cant really do much more with it till tomorrow when I get gas for the welder.  Im building it more or less like the one that 4rnrick and wheeliepete built for their project blue.  Those two beat me to the punch!  I was designing my old one to end up like that but they built theirs first, damnit!  Now Ill get accused of not being origional and a copy cat, but Ill make mine stronger and better looking just cause I can!  I should have pics of the finished result tomorrow.
