I have been eyeballing that for a while now.  I just have lacked the motivation after doing all the rest of this project.  It would be smart to take it off cause it leaks!

The color is actually called flouresent red, it looks orange in the pics and in real life but if you compare it to the flouresent orange its deffinately red. 8) 8)too damned bright I love it! 8) 8)

That's just what you need..... You know the #1 color that attracts cops (or at least stands out the most) is Red and now you've gone and painted it flouresent red. Cop magnet!!

When the cops come just burn 'em :flamer:

Thanx for the offer I really appreciate it   But I cut the origional boot in half to use it for the rear case.  I have a boot set for the forward shift & W56 for the front two.  I just need to finish the floor.  I used sheet metal that basically amounts to 1/8th plate.  It is too heavy and almost immposible to bend here at my shop.  I am replacing the whole tunnel with 22 gauge that shawnb donated to the cause.  Thanx shawn!

I finally had time to work on my own junk tonight!  I pulled the bed off, chucked the lspv, pulled the tank for relocation to the rear and designed my rear shackle hanger and bumper.  I will get the new springs tomorrow for it.  Damn I cant wait :ack:

lol I know exactly what you mean!  I paid more for the tires on my 84 than I have invested in this whole thing!  Just for those keeping track again:  The Mco7 and all related hardware that I have put in it lately put me just over a grand actually $1054 to be pretty exact. :)

Ive got the rear springs, u-bolts and plates.  Need to make new shock mounts and mount the tank.  It still a ways off but what do yall think will be involved with swapping out to a 90 x-cab body?  I already have a running list in my cranium but Im sure that Ive missed some things... Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

My list just got WAY bigger!  I was out working on the lil truck, the frame is pretty bent :(  Looks like Im just gonna put all the running rear on the 90 and run with it.  Any thought on what to do about the shifter for the auto that is in the 90?  Ive never seen one on the column like this, Im sure its factory I just hadent seen one before.  Well back to the shop Ive got a LOT of stuff to do now......

Its amazing how fast you can strip a toyota down to nothing too ;)  A buddy of mine...actually the one that got beaned by the bumper off of the lil truck stopped by and we stripped it down to the very last bolt!  I have ALL the bolts that were origionally on this truck it is nothing now.  Just a frame steering box and axles.

Any body want any 81 parts? lol  To say its stripped is a understatement.  There are 5 bolts in the cab period.  The seatbelt bolts were rusted in.

you've got a lot of work and a little time to get it done. :hammer: I still want to do some practace runs before the event in june. :beerchug: Nothing hoses ya worse than :smack: a spotter and driver misscommunication or lack of experiance working together. You can see that on the goldendale tape that I lent ya.
