Not only do I have paint left over but I already bought the paint for doint the flames "more pronounced" than before.  I also have a few bottles of pearl, Im gonna put extreme violet pearl in the glow/clear coat.

Well I didnt get a lot done considering I couldnt weld, but I did get the gastank fitted.  I also got the crossmember/t-case mount built just needs to be burned into place:)

Well after getting all the stuff Ill need to plumb in the gastank and finish the cuttin and welding Im at $504.  Not doing too badly if I do say so myself

WOW!!! i wish my rig was going that good. but due to my wifes dog almost getting eaten by another dog i am out of money right now. but as soon as i can save more i will try to get going again. keep up the good work WT. and keep the cost down

Man these re's sure dont like not having a o2 sensor do they?  Ive got the tank all plumbed and the truck actually runs without spraying carb cleaner down its gut!  I just need to figure out where Im dropping power so I can get rid of the jumper for the fuel pump.  Next up is the crossmember.

Holy crap Im damned near proud of this one!  I still need to add a few braces here and there plus add the mounting tabs but Im loving this crossmember!!!

I guess someone got the spy photos of my shackle setup and the photos of the crossmember mixed up!  I have the crossmember done and installed, and I added a new crossmember to the rear portion of the frame to attach the traction bar too.  Ive also gotten the rear spring perches welded on.  Oh yea about the shackles those are my new design for ultimate travel!

I cut the middle portion out of the factory horsecollar crossmember and Ive cut a piece of 2" schedule 40 that is bent to almost touch the underside of the body.  Now I just gotta weld it in and finish the steering box.  Ive got it set in place, I think its gonna be a piece of cake getting it all hooked up!  I had some reservations about how it would fit and hook up but now that its in place Im not gonna have to even cut the inner fenderwell!  Damn Im lucky!

Ok kids heres your obligatory pic for the evening.  I would have done a lot more tonight but Ive got a nearly full bottle of stargon (I had to fill the bottle again today!) But the problem lies in the lack of wire    When I was at the welding shop I almost bought another roll, but I figured since I just put a new roll in a couple nights ago Id be fine    Shoulda known!

Damm WT it's looking good. I'll try to come by tomarrow with the spy camera. I might be waking you up cosidering they sent me home at 11:30 today so I could come in to night and work a 16. so on the way home I'll stop by and see how it's going .
Did it tell ya that the wife want's to go for memorial day! Now I have to figure out how to fit a car set in the front of the truck. Think I can put all three of us up front. better yet think I should grab some earplug for the trail run so I wouldn't have to hear her screem

Thats gonna be a tight squeeze but I think you can do.  Well arent you a selfish b*std!?  Only thinking of yourself!  (dont forget the kid needs earplugs too!)  If she screams too bad tell her if she dont like it youll let her ride with Eric! 

Ive got the steering situation figured out, I think itll do fine.  Im just wondering about the pump, I think I may have some issues with the psi it puts out.  Yes the pitman arm is pretty close but itll clear both the frame and the springs since the springs are just about as flat as they'll be on compression.

The box is officially mounted.  I sleeved the frame and bolted it on.  I hooked up the brake lines and started bleeding the system.  I think I figured out the fuel pump problem, I was using the 90 tail light harness which also has the pump and fuel level sender plug on it.  Not only were the plugs different but the 94 harness also had one extra wire, which is weird since the extra wire didnt go to the pump but it went to the gauge sender.  Oh well it works now I dont care!

Last time she rode with erick. He was flying through the snow and hit a stump.  30 to zero in 1second.  She had a seatbelt bruse for two weeks. She hasn't rode with him sense.

The steering is done except for the tierod end that connects to the pitman arm, that will be here tomorrow.  Hey Kyota does that steering arm and tierod look familiar?
