Track poser or not its on the road now!!!!!!  It actually drives pretty decent, its sluggish on the bottom but not all that bad accelerating.  I figured it would be a serious dog but its not bad at all.

Thanks for the props guys.  Im really startin to dig this truck now.  Its getting to be fun again!  Ive always done the big projects like suspension on ShawnB's truck in 1 night.  Well Ive got SO much crap that needed to be done There was no way to do it as fast as Im used to.  This project was really dragging me down but now its not!  Im starting to get back to the real me!

I know what you mean by "getting you down" it ez to have a big job like that make you feel that it will never be the way your wanting to be. butt it do look like you'r on top of it and it's coming right along  so don't stop now you'r on the home strech

Oh hell no Im all stoked about it now Im ready to get it done instead of it being a never ending saga.  Now that I know the suspension actually does work, Its now just a mad dash to finish it at least by the 15th' so I have time to paint it.

Heres a little preview.  On the left is flourescent yellow, next is flourescent orange then glow with the violet pearl to mix in with it the the old flourescent red.

I have this sinking feeling that ShawnB's truck will go under the knife next.  The early thoughts are of puting either his or a 90's x-cab on the 81 frame and me building a sick suspension for it.  But like I said this is just the early brainstorm.

Yes those are the 38's from the big truck.  Ive got 40" gumbos to run in the snow but the class Im entering limits you to a 35" tire so Im borrowing SHawnB's Bfg's for the event.

Brainless Im not even gonna look at the frame on this truck I dont give a damn if its shaped like a pretzel or not!
