Hey now I had an 81 datsun in high school that thing was a kick in the shorts!! it had 32x10.5 tsl radials w/a 2.5 in. body lift. I beat the unholy hell out of it! in 2 years I killed 2/ front axles, 1/ 4 speed (actually a good thing as the 280z 5 speed was not an overdrive but had a better split between gears) 3/ rear ring & pinions, inumerable u-joints, and most of the body! Besides that is how it came to me and who am I to change something a dope fiend did? The bungees were also included at no extra charge to keep it closed. If you think thats funny check this one out I just got around to cleaning out the bed check out all the freebies!

Most of the tools are Craftsman or S&K.

33x14 on 10's rear 33x12.5's on 8 inch front currently all terrains but I have tsl's in the bed(yet uninstalled) Look in the stuck pics. Whats funny is you cant see the right front wheel in any pics its chrome! what can I say they were free. I love it everyone keeps giving me parts etc. I plan on spending no more than $1000 on this whole project. I need it done for a Calrocks event in Goldendale this summer. The biggest expense will be a Mco7!!! Should be a whole lotta fun.
So far Im up to $42.78 I guess I have a ways to go.

I just checked the calrocs schedule sounds like I have untill june 18th. I think this will be a fun deal mainly cause its the first time Ive tried anything like this before.

The plan so far is a w56 swap and duals. the best thing is I have all the stuff to do this already, including the clutch, all for free! Rears up front xtended shocks all around new rear springs, again allready have everything, for free! To save some money on drivelines I have the steel for square shafts already (I wont tell you what is cost!;))
the only expenses so far has been paint and an air filter.
Ill keep yall posted of course on my progress.

WHITE_TRASH, are those stacks coming out of the bed of your trail rig? I'd love to do that for my 350 swap, mine posting some pics of the layout and what you did, mufflers, pipes, etc. Those are very nice, i'd love to have loud stacks.

up! :yupyup:My buddy did the same thing to his bumper pulling me out a few years back..I was in my truck and All I could see and hear was,,BANG then a bumper fly throught the air..I thought it was mine..I got out to see his missing..WHEW!!

I had thought about that in the summer but not in the winter. The canyon walls are way too steep for that. The road that I was on was driven by a D8 cat. I figured if the cat didnt want to go across the canyon somewhere else I sure as heck didnt!

Oh yea I almost forgot I have improved on the bungee latch for the tailgate. I also tied up that wiring and got that spare out of there. The new windshield will be here tomorow (I hope).
Shes coming together whether she likes it or not. Slowly but surely.
