I got it gnob.  I didnt understand that the cable driven speedos provided a VSS signal to non EFI trucks.  Thanks for the clarification as I am starting my 3RZ swap this week, as soon as I recieve my FSM for the '98 and '84 trucks.  Again, thanks for the clarification.
