I have been thinking about engine swaps a LOT lately and a new idea came to me today: 3.8 'charged Pontiac engines; from the mid 90s Grand Prix GTP and the like. Hm... I'd like to keep it all Toyota but if I can figure out something that's newer (OBD 2) pretty easy to get parts for (like any SBC) fairly simple to work on (like any SBC) and has power/injection for decent mileage even with big-ass tires.
Yes, I'd LOVE to stuff a 2JZ or 1UZ engine in here but those things cost two arms and a leg from what I can find. Plus I'm starting to get the boost itch after trading the AllTrac.

Oh, the possibilities!!!

Another: 4.0 DOHC 'charged Olds Aurora engine... all aluminum! Eh? Eh? Eh?
