I'm gonna be running my fuel lines this weekend and have been looking at all the pics i can find on how everyones been doing it.  I see some run it in the stock location and then accross the firewall and some run it up under the drivers side to avoid exhaust heat.  Has anyone had issues with vapor lock due to using the stock fuel lines? And besides the stock heat shield is any other heat protection needed?  Also is the stock fuel line on the older toyotas sufficient to supply fuel to the 3rz?

Ran the Tacoma lines. My soft lines cross over the back of my cab I havent had any issues due to heat. It was cheaper to do the rear of the line rather then the line across to the filter plus i thought it looked cleaner.

My buddy ran them across the firewall and used stock 22re pump and lines and it runs great. Its all opinion and how you want to go about it.
