Thanks fellas... I should have drivers door finished today.. as far as bar and linkage.. then all that will be left is to weld the 2 pieces together.. and prime them.. then on to the vinyl windows...

Is the angle of the door lever linkage going to be a problem over time?

I dont think so.. all I did was extend a straight area..  also, my other half doors have the same setup. On the 4runner for most of the year, have held up fine for approx 8 years..

Haha.. after I make the windows, I wanna make a rear partition that will enclose the cab.

Did you know that Killer Top Tops makes a cab partition?

Are you planning to use velcro, magnets or snaps for the windows?

I was planning on using old regular snaps.. velcro would nice, just not sure how I'd permanently mount one side to door..
I like the Murphys snaps.. but I think they will stick out to much.. im still all ears and looking at alternative options

While I'm waiting for warmer days, I found a great deal on a pair of doors. Going to make another set of half doors. Having a template should make things go quicker.
