Any concerns for additional axle wrap those might give?
Not too much, I still have the overload spring on from the chevy's, and the pivot blocks are only about 1.5" tall. Trying to stay as low as possible.

Are you gonna do a rear traction bar as well?
I'm going to see how it performs on trails first, hit the skinny on a couple of climbs, then we'll see. Trial by error is my favorite.

This is all that is left!!!!!!! :clap2:

Bleed brakes
Build shock mounts & install shocks
Build Transfer Case Crossmember & remove stock crossmember
Buy and mount spare tire
Fill transmission, transfercase, & engine with oil
Install steering frame brace, steering box, pitman arm, draglink
Weld Pivot Lift Blocks to Axle Perch
Weld tow bar mounting brackets

MiniSimp

Got the steering box cleaned up and pitman arms switched.

My wife would like to thank everyone for the good comments on my box.

The truck should be done soonish...maybe.
I'm working on it Saturday & Sunday (whoa, 2 days in a row? How did I talk my wife in to that?)
Plan is to weld on the pivot perches, mount the steering box, and plumbing.

Hold on, maybe I should re-phrase that because I don't have both male AND female parts...just male parts. Gosh! I confuse myself sometimes.

All I can say is WOW! The pivoting lift blocks provide way too much flex (if there is such a thing).

MiniSimp

For some reason I can't get pictures to my house right now, but I got the pivot lift blocks welded (Amazing!) and the steering box mounted and bled.

Here is what is left until I take it on the test drive:
Bleed brakes
Build Transfer Case Crossmember & remove stock crossmember
Fill transmission, transfercase, & engine with oil

Here is what is left until I take it on the test trail:
Build shock mounts & install shocks

And this is just BS stuff:
Weld tow bar mounting brackets
Buy and mount spare tire

I love the "toyoda" on the steering box!  You usually see that on circa 70s stuff.

Yeah, the Toyoda family eventually removed their name or changed it to Toyota to seperate the family from the business.

How'd those rear spacers work at gettin the tires clear of the frame?

Yeah, that kinda pisses me off. With the pivoting lift blocks providing so much more flex, even with 2" spacers in the rear the tire still hits the frame. I'm not totally sure what I want to do yet. I'm either going to shave the frame and plate it with 1/8" diamond plate from the frame to the top rail of the flat bed, or buy some Marlin 3" spacers for the rear, and put the 2" spacers up front. I also adjusted the steering stops today, the PO had them set all the way in! He's an idiot for doing that, and I'm and idiot for just now noticing, oh well, no harm no foul. :hammer:
