I used a Portaband saw for the initial cuts, then get closer with the grinder.

I didn't like where All-Pro wanted me to mount the rear plates because it would have put them close to my head, so I built a new base plate out of 1/4" with the holes 5-3/8"x3"
I think their cage must be designed for an extra cab or something.
