Once I have some kind of a bed on there, it should do well.
That, and the tires were touching the chassis again.
Really need those wheel spacers! :smack:

Got my Johnny Joint Shackles in today, I hear the hardest part is putting on the snap ring, if that's it....cool. :thumbs:
The shackles are 5" eye to eye
The bolts are 5/8" & 9/16"

Just ordered (4) 1.5" wheel spacers and (2) low profile magnetic drain plugs from Marlin!

Because of the rain, I didn't get anything done, so the miss' and I decided to give our 14 year old cousin her first driving lesson. :thumbs:

Dave and I mounted the Johnny Joint shackles this weekend.
All I can say is what a pain in the :moon: to put on the snap ring.
Dave made a custom tool from a 1" deep socket, 1.75" flat washer, and a 3/8"x6" bolt and nut.
We had to compress it about 1/4" further than when first assembled to get the washer in far enough to put in the snap ring.
Both bolts are greasable.
The shackle was mounted 5" back from the stock shackle location eye to eye.
