Took it out wheeling this weekend for a test run.
Went on some logging trails up in Cedar Ridge.
They were washed out and barely wet, so I didn't get to test out the 4wd, but I did get to test out my sliders.
I'll be going back on the 24th with more vehicles, so i'll be able to get a little crazy.
Anyway, no pics from the trail, just the "after".

This will be a lot better than putting it in the cup holder.

Well, I installed my Aussie Locker on Saturday!!!!
All I can say is damn!
Can't wait to trail test it. I was poping the clutch and smoking both of my boggers at the same time. It was great.
The install took me about 10 hours because I didn't have all the right tools, but overall pretty simple. You do have to reset the backlash, but that is explained in the FSM.

Tools you need:
10mm Box Wrench
12mm Socket
12mm Box Wrench
14mm Socket
14mm Box Wrench
17mm Socket
17mm Impact Socket
Air Wrench (for removing the ring gear)
Torque Wrench 18ft lbs to 90 ft lbs
Hydraulic Jack or Hi-Lift
2 Jack stands
Gear Oil
Medium Grease
RTV Sealant or Gasket for 3rd
File or dremmel (for clearancing the carrier)

Here's the pics!

The directions kinda suck, they are generic instructions covering 8 different axles. Basically spent a lot of time looking at the FSM.
I had to shave 1/16" off of the inside of the carrier where the arrows are to fit it in.

Got some shocks today.
Got 4 ES1000's and a ES2000 steering stabilizer for $100.00
Crappy, yeah, maybe, but for a C-note, who cares!
Part Number 132000 14" ES1000
Part Number 220230 Factory Replacement Steering Stabilizer Wrong Part Number! Correct part number is 220210

Well, I went back down to 4WP and told them it was the wrong steering stabilizer, so they look it up in the book and it comes up as being the correct part number.....if you are using the ProComp bracket (optional). So, the factory replacement stabilizer should be part number 220210. They will have it in Monday, so I'll update then.

MiniSimp

Ok, so this is supposed to be the correct steering stabilizer, but we'll see.
PN: 220210

What thickness is that square tubing? I used 3/16 2x2 for mine and 3/16 angle for the sides of my flatbed. I still gotta fab up the side and back rails for mine.

Then to save some $ I decided I am going to use the old rollbar cut the legs short and make some support plates for it and renforcement to the frame for it.
Here's my rollbar strapped down for now I still gotta cut the front legs on it so they are even with the back.

The tubing on the base is 2x2x0.120 and the tubing on the top and sides is 1.5x1x0.120
Should be sturdy as hell, I made it so I can add on fenders later if I want to, but i'm not sure I will.
