up to you... i think either one would look fine, but if you use the can just make sure that the radius is somewhat close to the contour of the body.

GONZO97

yeah the only problem that i was seeing is that on the body line of the driver side its kinda dented outta wack and i figure i can get a much more consistant line with the can so all sides get matched up properly

GONZO97

So with the help of 82juguete we came up with an idea for a low profile bumper so heres some pics to kind of show how the build went,
the idea

the mock up just to get a visual

the outline to round it out to match the body lines

all cut out

cleaned up

patched in a piece of sheet metal for that rounded look

also patched up the ends

cleaned up

Got the mounts welded up

painted

mocked up for the final burn in

finished product

Then i decided to build sliders while i was at it

this was my brothers idea

tacked up the filler piece

burned it in

cleaned it up

then with the help of my brother who is joto we came up with this....i havent painted them yet due to being sick :reg:

Then when i was topping off the gear oil in my rear diff i found this

so what i need from you guys is your opinion on 2 things

1st: What should i do for a front bumper just purchase a prebuilt tube one ? Or build one and if you guys have design ideas please let me know??
2nd: As for the diff should i just open it up and see how bad it is then possibly regear it the same or regear it lower to possibly 5.29s? Or if anyone has a good 4.10 diff they are willing to donate to me so that i can install a locker and keep the 4.10s let me know, id be willing to buy too if the price is right.... thanks guys

I agree, pull the third and see how bad the damage is.  Just my  :twocents: , I would just save up for a full case locker or a selectable locker like an elocker or ARB.  After running one for a season, I won't waste my time with a limited slip ever again.

Well guys idk if anyone remembers the old cargo rack that i built for my old 4runner but it doesnt really matter, i rebuilt it, dropped the overall heigth of it and redid most of the welds, but what i need help with is any ideas on how to mount it? when i had it on my last runner we integrated a mount set up to the already existing cargo rack rails. But the runner i have now has no rails so im going to be mounting it directly to the roof of the runner, so please post up ideas of how to mount it, self tapping screws, bolts all the way through the roof ect, im open to all suggestions let me know if there is an easier way to do this, thanks guys

So I figured out how i was going to mount the rack, i took off the headliner and welded some nuts on the underside of the roof and then used rubber washers as bushings and mounted the rack using bolts and lock washers, wired up some lights and now shes good to go. Will post pics later, on to my next problem,
So lately ive been having a clicking sound coming from the front of my car when im driving, talked to my cousin did some research and figured out its most likely my birfields, so today upon doing more research i engaged 4WD to listen to the front and there was a terrible sounding knock at first i thought it was my diff but when i left the truck in 4WD and unlocked the hubs the knock went away, so im pretty sure the birf is broken to  :lipsrsealed: right now, but was just curious to hear  if you guys think its the birfs as well, post up  :crossed:
