Alright guys so we were doing work until we realized the wiring harness that we had was for a manual tranny it completely slipped my mind but i picked up the right wiring harness so now we are back on track...im hoping to have the wiring harness all back in by the end of tonight since i dont get off til 8 and then finish up all the vacumm lines and hoses in the morning hoping to turn it over tomorrow night or thursday morning....wish me luck

damn, the one time someone needs an auto harness and they have a manual one. I was really excited to do this swap but wanted the manual harness before i started and i couldn't find one.

Lol its alright Sou..... Guys i need help with the vacumm lines on the passenger side of the block....please for those of you with a 3.0 please post up a ton of pictures for me the fsm is so vague on what goes where so any help would be appreciated

Well guys last night my cousin and I and my brother were up til all hours of the night working on the runner....At approximately 1230 at night we all had our fingers crossed and awaited anxiously as we turned the key.... with a few tries the runner started right up and we had minimal leaks which were easily fixed..... So it is alive....but after bleeding the brakes we realized we had no brake pressure which has made us come to the conclusion that our master cylinder is no good.... So thats what i will be working on tomorrow... And i will get pictures up tomorrow as well just want everything finished first!!!

By the way guys we figured out the brakes.....turns out the lspv for some reason had a leak or something so we just bypassed the lspv all together and wa la! we had brake pressure.... but heres what went wrong next....on my way up to bald the power windows stopped working!(leaving my driver window stuck in the down position!) but heres the thing i dont get....i had all the windows working then out of nowhere they just stop completely and even the back window which can be rolled down with the key wont roll down either, along with the windows not working the power door locks dont work either....i cant figure out what it is....i have replaced all the fuses, the ones in the engine compartment and the ones under the dash driver side. Is there like a power window relay that i am missing? or a fuse i dont know about? any help is appreciated guys! Post up!

i don't really think this is it but there are three plugs that go from the drivers door to the top of the fuse box. one is for the locks, one for the windows, and one for the mirrors. May you have loosened a plug and the offroadin finished it loose? And for that fact, maybe not the doors plugs, but just plugs under the dash  just something that came loose?

Just on top of the fuse box? i checked all the plugs right now plugging into the fuse box and everything looks fine nice and snug....any other ideas?

sorry i was unclear. I ment the drivers kick panel fuse box. You need to take the kick panel off to get to these. The fuse panel is allot bigger than the small cover. if you have never been there (ie. taken your doors off) i doubt its the problem. i was thinking you had swapped a 3.4 in so you had to play with a bunch of wires but you didn't.

New idea, pull out the multi meter and check your drivers door master control for power.

One thing thats tripping me up is that the key actuated rear window switch runs off different power than the internal rear window button. And you said they both don't work.

yeah lol i just pulled off the kick panel and checked them everything looked fine...and thats what i cant figure out either....i mean everything was working perfectly fine then all of a sudden nothing....not even the sunroof motor is kicking on....there has to be a relay somewhere that has its own fuse or that is completley burnt up or something

check your motor grounds and body grounds chief, i did that and my engine woulnt start!

i was kinda thinking grounds too, theres a relay box in the back drivers corner behind the trim and the cubby. its a pita to get to but im pretty sure it controls the windows ( i know it controls the rear). might be worth a shot. you would need to take the whole rear panel off though so try something else first.

Ill recheck the grounds but why would they have worked for a couple days then stopped all of a sudden? it has to be a burnt up relay box....i feel like ive tried everything so looks like im tearing into the back panel! i have no other options as of now

did you check power to the master driver door switch? i think all window power goes through that. (aside from the aformentioned exterior key switch for the rear window)

if you take off the arm rest you can see the inerds of the switch

Early, i haven't had time to check the switches yet....im swamped with work and school but as soon as i get a chance(saturday most likely) i will check and let you know if the controls are fried or what.... and sou the truck drives great im very pleased with how it turned out and it performed amazingly at bald....nothing really held me up at all so i was very happy with it....im just working out the little kinks now
