You should be able to pick up some dive lines from the pick-n-pulls, they go for about $75 or so for the pair. But it all depends on the guy behind the counter..

You may luck out  and find one that may be correct length..

Once you have your DL, a DL shop would probably  charge about $100.00 or so to re-tube it..

Talon84x4

I went to a place that Marlin suggested, (if you're local to the fresno area). Cost me about $70 to have my rear d-line done. Not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Pretty sure it was Driveline Service of Fresno

yep driveline service...its on Golden State south of Jensen.  Just make sure you find a shaft thats in good shape...if its too dented or the u-joints are crap its gonna be quite a bit pricier.  Do a square shaft up front...takes a few hours at most.  I might even have some of the 2.5" .25wall tube leftover.

GONZO97

Alright guys thanks for the input and yeah im in the fresno area so i can prob get to driveline service and nico if you do have some of that tube left over let me know next time your in town

The thing that im waiting on right now is for my uncle to come and clean up my frame with the torch...we were cutting the holes for the frame tubes(my grandpa and i) and he cut them too small and thought i could grind them down...well thatll take like a year so my uncle who has a torch is going to come over and clean them up so im hoping he'll come by tomorrow and get them done for me so that way i can start mocking everything up...and the reason why im waiting for them is because i dont have a torch to cut the holes lol

Alright guys well my uncle bailed on me so I said screw it and went and picked up his torch and taught myself how to use it.

Heres a picture with the frame tube in place

And here I am starting to hook up the RUF

starting to jack up the front to tack into place

Tacked into place and sitting on own weight what do you guys think of the shackle angle?

And this final picture im worried about....somehow on the passengers side the shackle angle is pinched in idk how this happened as to i was using a jig when cutting the holes....im thinking im going to fix it but what are your guys' opinion's?

All comments or suggestions are welcomed thanks guys.

If you take the shackles out put any rod or dowel straight through the frame tubes and see if they are level with each other...Do you plan on adding leafs to those RUF leafs?

the shackel angle looks kinda straight up and down.   going to be a ruff ride i think.    i wander about some boomerang shackels might help.      :dunno:
i love oregon wheelin.

<MIKE>

boomerangs will give the exact angle as regular shackles. the boomerang part is just to clear an obstruction like a body mount.

idk what im going to do I really need to fix that shackle tube it is bothering me...and due to the shackle angle i would have to move the front mounts back in order to get them to be more at an angle....but keep in mind there isnt an engine or a transmission in the car i think the added weight will help push that shackle angle back a bit....now im trying to figure out how i can fix that shackle tube???

yes the weight of the engine and tranny will help considerably with the angle.   but yes still need to straighten the frame tube.
