it looks good i think you found a good happy medium for lengthening it the extra storage should be great

You work too fast for me, I'm getting dizzy just watching. Took me almost a year just to rewire my Willys and then I burnt it all up. It'll be another year before I even want to look under my hood again.

The cage is much improved, it was one of two things that I would have changed.  The exhaust is functional, but I'm not a fan of stacks.

The TIG has a finger wheel and will work on both 115 / 230. It goes for $1800 And is a good little TIG so long as you don't want to weld aluminum.

I didn't when I bashed the side on the Con three times before trying a differant line. I even left some of the nicks and dents in just so it don't look too good.

I think it looks better too :wink:

WOW!!!!!!  I remember talking to you about cutting it up and lengthening it when y'all were here in Albuquerque.  I cant believe you ALREADY cut it in half and put it back together.  I haven't even TOUCHED my truck much since you left...

Mark, it is truly amazing and inspiring to watch the work on your willy.

Ok, I got the floor piced together and painted tonight. I must be getting lazy in my old age cause I brushed the inside. 

If you ask me it looks as good as it did when I sprayed it except I didn't have to tape the whole thing up and wash out the guns.

Tomorrow I will put the tank and seats back in.

Not bad for 10 days worth of work.

Got the tank back in and the seat frame modfied to fit. That is all I can stand for tonight.

Still have to:

Extend the exhaust, brake line and fuel lines.

Put the tunnel cover and shifters back in.

Paint the welds on the frame, roll cage and nerf bar.

Clean it up and test drive.

All this needs to be done by tomorrow.

There's a  lot of room for a bigger fuel tank now. I only have a 10 gallon under my seat.

This tank is about 12 gallons, but I want to biuld a larger one and redo the seat frame. I also want to put diamond plate aluminum in the bed up to the back of the seats.

One thing at a time.

Granted you have a diesel and lot better mileage, but having that extra fuel on a long trip sure feels good when everyone else starts getting worried about getting off the trail. I have an auxillary tank in my yota and I love the fact that I still have 3/4's of a tank when everyone else is sucking fumes. Now my Willys, about 250 hp V6 with a Holley 4bbl and a 10 gal. tank, I get worried after I climb over the 1st rock.
