Sorry rocktoy and glen too. I really hated cutting it up but it saved me a lot of time not having to make a cover from scratch. It was only a bare housing, but could have been used for a better purpose. It cost me plenty if that makes you feel better.  :smack:

So, are you getting Mr. Willy a sans-a-belt jumpsuit and some velcro shoes so he'll fit in with the "typical" RV crowd?

Day three of Labor Day weekend and the list of things is getting shorter. Got the wipers done, wired up the in dash winch switch, installed the CB, installed the rock lights, finished the rear deck, polished the over spray off the paint so it will slide better across the rocks and even cut out the other foot and put it on. The E brake / hand brake is done too. We now have three (3) nights to finish the rest up if we are to leave on Friday night.  :yikes:

No time to sleep, I guess I better get back to work.  :tantrum:

Still gota make fuel tank protector plates, secure the brake lines and fuel lines. Add a piece of square tube on the rear bumper so the tag stays with us on the trail and mount the fire extinguisher.

I also would like to get the proper fuel filter installed, but there parts to be made that aren't available any more.

The list seems to be getting longer again.   All this talk about work is making me

But we are going to the Rubicon and that makes it all worth it. :turtle:

Nope it is the stock filter for the engine, but some of the fittings aren't avalible any more. I couldn't find a filter like that small enough to use. The lines are only 1/4" and all the other filters had 3/4" npt ports.

Mark-

You might just try a 83-94 Ford Fseries truck diesel fuel filter assy.  The filter has a water separator built onto it and looks like it could easily be adapted to pretty much any diesel setup.  You can check mine out when you're here in Albuquerque next week  :eyebrow:

Everything on the rig looks great! I can't wait to check it out!

Ok now that we made it to MCR4 and back it is time to get back to the buildup. I started making the templates for the brackets on the supercharger. I was going to locate a TD27 engine, but since I have the SD22 and the supercharger already I might as well give it a go.  :crossed:  I hope I can at least double my output from 60 hp @ 4000 to at least 100 hp  :dunno:  Then it's back to making a custom T case so I can go duals and get a better driveline angle.  :flamer:
