Yea it's rated for 400 cfm and is used on V8's of more than twice the size as the little 2.2L, but I figure it won't need to be turned very fast to get the job done.

I think Co2 is rated at 800 psi at room temp.

Update on million dollar radiator build.

I made tanks and a funky crossover pipe so the hoses will hookup right. There was no room to have a tank big enough to have a hose connection at the bottom, so the crossover pipe sends the coolant to the other side and comes in the front. Then the top hose goes in the driver side top. Thats the weirdest thing I have seen yet, but it gets the job done.

SkyCraft on Fairbanks ave has all kinds of shrink tube and rubber hoses on the shelf. I'm still in awe over that willy. Also have you seen the one that is the same color (but I think it is closer to stock) on Tuskawilla rd. between Redbug and d**e? The 1st time I saw it I thought it was yours but it has smaller tires.
Lator.....
Skycraft is where I got the tubing for the chains, the guy there was having a good time helping me decide what would work best. I love that place, you just walk around with all kinds of ideas coming to mind.
I haven't seen that other one but someone else around here told me about it not too long ago too. Where abouts are you Insti?
Life is like a bowl of beer flavored chocolate covered dog turds.. it makes no sense. :pokinit:

Where is the Mammoth?

These are the links I used to drill my steering box.  The first link shows where I ported mine and the second has the best directions on working on the box.

When I put my box back together I found it much easier to to take the threaded steering shaft retainer off the steering shaft when putting the worm assembley back togehter.  I just couldnt get the worm and the steeing shaft to mate up correctly unless I pull the retainer off and put them together before Iput them back into the box.  I also packed the worm assembly with HEAVY lucas grease that I kept in the shop fridge to make sur eit was tacky enough.  I didnt have ANY issues getting the balls to stay in their place. ;)  Hope this helps.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

Welp, didn't get done with the radiator this weekend, but it is coming along. I need to order an aluminum fill neck and pick up some more aluminum to make a shroud with. The shroud I made is too thin to weld togrther.

I got the D rings welded on and painted. I also started looking at the supercharger to see where to mount it. Looks like I my be able to mount it back on the pass side of the engine and run a jack shaft to it from a pully that will take power from the injection pump drive.  Still working on the details. :headscratch:

I put in a taller element and there wasn't room, it has been taking a pounding from the hood reinforcement. :ha_ha:

It was just temporary anyway, I have to do something better, but I was waiting till the supercharger goes on so I can incorporate it into the snorkel. :disturbed:

I hated the way the first shroud came out and I ran out of material, so I started over and made a new one. I think it looks much better.  :dunno:

  Has anybody else seen or used one of these tools? It's a shrinker / stretcher. These things are great for making curved panels and patches.

Well we had a rather busy weekend and made some progress. First off I finished the radiator and pressure tested it in the bath tub. I installed it and test drove it down the interstate at a whole 62 mph on the mat. It only got up to 205 where it had been getting to 210 at 45-50 mph. I am going to change the thermostat from a 195 Chevy to a 180 Nissan stat. This should help keep the temp stable at about 185.

I also was making good progress on the roof rack when I ran out of argon and my backup bottle was empty too.  :tantrum:

On to the other projects, I made mounts for the ram assist and tapped the steering box for the fittings.

I didn't have to take the entire steering box apart, just the front valve assy. I used paper towels and a wet vac to keep the shavings from getting into the box. :crossed:
