yeah i have an hx40w 60mm inducer compressor side with a custom bulls eye power hotside, custom built turbo manifold, 3'' turbo back, 60mm wastegate and 44mm bov with watermeth injection.... shooting for 22-25 psi boost

actually rollin the runner into the shop tonight  should be working on it the majority of tomorrow as well! works slow and i found a bit of motivation

I'm ditching the stock TB  that I ported and am modding another manifold to run a Mitsubishi 1G 60mm TB instead so this thing can breathe

Well I have had a lot of big jobs lately at the shop and my damn audi was giving me some issues.....  so with that being said, Im almost done doing a full inframe rebuild on a 97 peterbilt with a Cat 3306. After thats running and out of the shop I will be rolling the runner in and actually get some done. tired of staring at all the money I spent in parts just sittin around collecting dust. Sold my dads 85 xtra cab and my 84 reg cab to my roomy so he will be buying me a JD2 bender as part trade I'll post pics later to keep the motivation rollin!

Successfully finished up the inframe last night, purrs like a cat!  yes itll be nice for some progress on this thing.... My schedule is clear except for the wedding ceremony I am performing for my buddy on the 10th so I have no excuses not to work on it

Did some engine bay cleanup and installed my fj80 mastercylinder after work last night, got home around 1 am... 







Right around 40'' right now but the rear is bottoming out on the inner fender well... Guess I'm just gonna have to cut them out and tub it!!  I might get 44'' of flex out of this little monster which would be outstanding  

Need to keep concentrated on this thing... It'd be nice to drive it before 2014

Nice looking runner. I also have an 86 that is built like a beast with every mod you can imagine. Sadly I am considering selling it though! I will post it up in the for sale section shortly, but looking at your makes me realize I shouldn't sell it! Urrrrrk!

Thanks! Yeah I still think about selling this thing almost everytime i look at it.... but I have too much time and money into it and wouldn't get even half of that out of it.... As long as I can pay my bills, I will hold on to it and keep on modifying until I can get as much trail time out of it as possible
I honestly want to enter some competitions next year if I have it goin just to make it all worth while

Nice! Jd2 makes a nice bender. Ive got the model 32 and i like it alot.  just make sure to put some grease on the main biggest pin that holds the die and the bending arms together. Mine didnt get greased and it scuffed and marred itself inside. It took me about two hours with a hammer and pry bar to get it apart!

Sneak peak of my manifold, 60mm 4G63 TB is bolted up to this plus excessive porting I'll do after work today I also ordered the rest of my engine hardware and AFR tuner from LCE. Should have this thing fired up by thanksgiving!

what is the purpose of the 4g63 TB?

WAY better throttle response. The combination of the heavily ported head, 1mm oversized valves, bigger cam, and 10.5:1 compression will respond a lot better throughout the entire powerband with that big of a throttle body. My buddys run the same TB on their mitsu's and both push well over 600 AWHP.... Plus I scored it for free and its way biggger than LCE 4mm "bigbore" TB.....

so do you still run the stock maf setup with that throttle body? or do you have something else in mind?

Yes, I'll run the stock AFM and then use LCE's little potentiometer afr tuner to adjust my A/F ratios rather than cutting the AFM apart and adjusting that. Should work out well hopefully!

Finally got the bender mounted in the floor at work boss was all for it! I told him I'll let him use it if he buys me a few more dies    
I also ordered up some poly bushings and whatnot to build the motor mounts and picked up some new TIG gloves and Tungsten electrodes so I can work on my TIG welding....  Trying to get busy on this thing again but being a mechanic really cuts into my time and motivation with my own projects... Plus the damn shop is always full of trucks so its hard to hit it just right to get down and dirty on the old girl since I have to have it out of the shop by the next day... Slowly but surely it'll all come together.

Not yet. shops been busy as hell since that cold snap and Ive been workin on the black yota.... I need to get some ARP rod hardware before I button the engine the rest of the way up. gotta get the truck legit so I can put the Audi under the knife in January. Then I can get movin on this damn thing....

Thanks! I finally got the audi turbo build torn down built and running again in exactly a month thanks to my good buddy putting in a lot of fab time with me. Pulls hard on 18 psi and I'm still tuning. Should be starting back up on this damn money pit shortly and actually get to wheel it this summer. We will see how smoothly things go...
