well the only thing that is left is.... the rear axle, springs, shocks, dual cases, and............... yup..... thats it! lol! already did the engine, front axle, front springs/shackles, shocks and shock hoops...... when I drop the 7mge in the 92 its getn marlin r10 adapter and 4.7s........ and the fj80 axles..... man I need some extra funds... lol!

well I re mounted my shocks in the rear almost straight up... rides a hellllloffffaalot better..... I also threw the 4deez on just to see what she'd look like...... just a lil bit of trimming and bumpstops then she'll have a set of wheelin tires!!

rear was binding up on the frame and springs so this weekend we are swappin the widetrack out of the 92 in and the 64'' chevies

This thing is coming along quite nicely ...... After the axle/spring swap here is the list of TO DO's:

-12 inch slip for front DL
-8 inch slip for rear DL
-Swap in duals and xmember
-get a set of 12'' Bilsteins for the rear (I mounted my ranchos almost straight up and down last night)
-bumpstops all around
-Move steering box forward 2 1/2 inches
-Install steering stablizer
-30 spline Longs
-Install Marlins HD inner axle seals
-Install my amp/5x7s/6x9s/and get a sub
-Build F/R bumpers and sliders
-Mount set of quick release mudflaps
-Build my other engine: .030 over, new head/cam/valves, 300cc injectors, big bore TB
-Marlin HD semimetallic clutch kit
-Transmission shifter bushings
-New switch for rear window
-Minor fender trimming and maybe custom flares?
-PAINT JOB

   well I ordered the 12 inch slip DL from inchworm, heavy duty shifter bushings for tranny and tc, 4 bumpstops, and HD inner axle seals 
I'm stoked    So once that shows up I'm going to get everything ready to drop the dual TC's into the Runner and set up the bumpstops after swappin the 92's ifs rear and chevy springs under the ass end!

Well I got my 12 inch slip from inch worm, shifter seats/bushings and bumps from marlin and I just ordered up an allpro 8 inch slip for my rear driveline.... duals and DL problems will soon be a thing of the past

well I had a fun night.... Dad got the Dodge stuck in a BIG ditch so I got a call around 1 in the AM... Drove 85 miles to pull it out, check out the damage and make sure he made it home (4 miles) safe.... Needless to say I was not too happy! In the process of pullin it out the slapped into my drivers front tire after it pulled me sideways and ALMOST into the ditch..... popped a birf..... I almost had the damn thing far enough over to drive it down about 30 yards and climb right out but I can hardly turn left now... Had to drive back home and work today, shop has been SLAMMED! Made it home at 5 AM........ SO today I decided that I am DONE with STOCK BIRFS!!!!!!   I'm ordering up a pair of Longfield 30 splines next paycheck. Stay tuned for alot of progress!

BTW it took a damn CAT loader to get the Dodge out..... and I guess I broke the rear brake line in the process of my attempt...... SO The 2003 Dodge 2500 Quad cab is officially FOR SALE!  Heres a link to a pic to remind you all what she looks like!

Thanks!! Yeah.... its a sweet ride........ I think we are selling his 85 xtra cab yota as well....  

Well got more goodies in!!!! 8 inch slip from Allpro and 8 more spring bushings for the chevies... I'm gonna put johnny joints on the frame side of the shackles when they go on the runner.

I also modified my xmember for the duals and I'm getting the case converted to top shift... didnt realize the runner has a top shift W56A...... just a minor setback!


I'll post up pics after work.... been busy, 125 hours on this paycheck! 45 hrs overtime

lookin pretty good!  why do you need an 8 inch slip for the rear?  i have been running stock rear drivelines forever and never had one come apart.

im not.... scratched that idea, I already haver a custom driveline off of my 85 standard cab that I had made at Wenatchee Driveline thatll bolt right up!!! all i have to do is weld up the front with the 12 inch slip! sooooo...... I've got the crawl box converted over to topshift and new seals throughout! all I need is a new front output seal on the tcase and I'll have it all finished up tomorrow!!!!

**brand spankin new 8 inch long slip from allpro for sale... I even installed the ujoint! $200 shipped!

I asked you in my thread already but if you wanna just reply here thats cool,  so what did you do to convert to top shift?  did you use a kit or DIY?  JW because i need to convert my 23 spline case for duals.... Thanks!

just took the topshift hi/low rail and shift fork out and installed it in the crawl box after welding a keystock on the rail to retain the shifter!  I also installed the HD transmission shifter seat and bushing! I'll post pics up later, my girlfriend is taking me to the shop to finish up the runner right now!
