Finally wheeled this thing into the shop last night and worked on it till 3 AM. Got alot of the frame cleaned up, pulled the front axle so I can reseal it, install new heavy duty seals, 5th stud and ARPs then burn some tube on it and mount the steering ram. Built the steering box mount all heavy duty beef status and the steering shaft from my 89 fits PERFECTLY. Pretty happy about that. Finished one motor mount and halfway tigging the other one up. Hopefully have the engine dropped in next week and build the shock hoops and engine cage. Stay tuned!

Finished up the other motor mount and ordered up 7/8" chromoly heims with high misalignment spacers and 3/4" hardware for my steering linkage. I planned out some more tubing and figured out the hydraulic ram mounting situation. Also got all new knuckle stud hardware and HD axle seals.

Welded up the Heim Steering last night. Got too late so I only burned them on one pass w/o rod. I'll go over them again with rod and fill it in smooth. Really diggin the TIG machine at work, getting better all the time Should be ordering up Marlins 25mm steering pins next check along with the ARP's.

Got my oil pan ready for the turbo. -10AN for the return and welded in a drain plug on the bottom because I hate the one on the side you can never get all the oil/sediments out!

Also have a line on a tial 44mm wastegate, Mitsubishi 450cc injectors and a 4'' aluminum plenum to weld up to the lower stock plenum, and possibly an LS1 101mm throttle body...
I have a 56mm HX35 turbo, LCE header flange and a box of SS 90 degree elbows for the manifold so I can start building that soon. I'll get this thing pieced together by the new year hopefully. I cant wait to have a boosted yota!

Pans on, rear main done, 35 lb flywheel's on, Marlins 1800 Super HD Ceramic clutch installed, intake installed, injectors installed, custom motor mounts installed, just need valve cover gaskets and my water pump and its fully sealed. Going in after work, dropping it in and finish up frame sides of the mounts.

Hey you made your motor mounts the same way I did on my cousins 2rz swap. It's actually a really easy awsome way to do them.

Hell yeah! I actually cut a set of old boomerang shackles up to make them... worked out nice, every piece of suspension and drivetrain will utilize 18mm greaseable hardware for simplicity

Look what was waiting for me when I showed up to work this morning! Also got brake lines mounted in the engine bay to my fj80 master and engine is officially bolted in to stay!
