I have a 2" body lift and no blocks, all spring.

it lookes like what hes gonna weld to the top of his dif to mount hydro. I have hydro on my runner, IMO its very nice for a dd, takes away any wobble from oversized tires

Yes you can run hydro assist on a DD.  Had it on mine till I broke my ifs box.

As for the bracket its for a anti wrap bar for his rear end.
