Get your truck together and lets go wheelin. I got the next couple weeks off..

Holy :pokinit:, your pionion is wayyy too deep.

Just run it till it breaks, If you "fix" it your gears will have to pretty much break in again. Taking even more hard surface material off the gears and making them even weaker.

I got this third out of a front axle I bought. I've looked all over the gears in it and they look terrific. Are these grooves going to majorly weaken the carrier?

So my build didn't come off without a hitch... I think I messed up the rear pinion angle. I get a bad vib in the truck above 55mph. Sort of like the square DS is spinning. I need to measure the angles again.

:gap:
that wasn't racing, that was cruzing down the trail.  it would be fun to do some time trials up that though.  if i didn't overheat every time i went up a hill it would be nicer.  gotta figure out now if i want to run an electric fan or mechanical.  took thefan clutch off last night and it really doesn't seem bad.  i think the radiator having all the fins corroded could have somthing to do with the clutch not warming up enough to grab.  now i need to save for a radiator.

let me know when you want to take the drive line in.  it wouldn't be a bad idea to pull your cv off the front and add it to the back(being its your daily driver).  i know a guy here in town that will give you deal on getting it done.  just talked to him today.

That would be a great idea seeing as my rear drivle line is bent... and it's heavy wall! (It has been like this for months until Superyota noticed it, I coundn't tell from driving it) I may just build another. I have a spare 85 front DS sitting around collecting dust.

Front pinion is leaking bad! More fixing!

I'd just run that third member till it breaks. I don't know how many carriers I have put tracks accross like that.

For $11 I replaced the seal. I hate leaking! It's bad on so many levels.

I found out that my crush sleeve is toast and my flange is too. Great! Luckily it's in the front. :)

I was leaving work :)

I got new to me shocks. 10" stroke. Plus, I picked up shock hoops for the front and 12" stroke Bilsteins.

10s in the back, 12s in the front.
