Hey dude incase you didn't see on the shoutbox running an aftermarket pump with no ram is fine

Don't get Psc. Their pump blows ass. Get the tg pump. My buddy put a tg pump in instead of the Psc and his steering is 10x better.

Yea?

Well i looked at tg site and they want only like 20 more than autozone pump.  So if i buy the pump, i also have to buy a resivor and other stuff right?   So its probably gonna be more expensive than just buying a crappy vatozone one.  And i honestly dont know when ill ever get around to tappin a box and buying the rest of the stuff for hydro assist

Kind of burnt out on buying stuff for this truck

IronClad

key word.. crappy vatozone pump. just spend the extra bit and have a better setup

mike.. rebuild your stock one and run that sh1t into the ground.. then when you actually go hydro assist, buy a better pump

Yep. 3 people i know have/had the psc pump and it blows ass. I have the TG along with a lot of others i know but my buddy that swapped out his PSC full hydro pump (that blew up anyway) for a TG pump and its incredibly surprising how well it works. At idle it has more steering power than the PSC did at ~2k rpm. Their pumps are garbage IMO

Their rams on the other hand are awesome. I have the TG pump and PSC 8x1.75" ram and its awesome.

ive heard good about their rams also.. now i thought i heard a long time ago, like when tg first came out with their hydro kit, that tg's pump was really a PSC pump, just rebadged?  i dont know if that was rumor or not though...

If anyone wonders what the internals of a pump looks like.  Just threw a kragen pump in, didnt have the cash for all the upgraded stuff

Dingman.

So started on my buddys beadlocks tonight.  Got one done minus bolts. Has to order them.

He got the kit from diybeadlocks.com with anti cone rings and the outer ring powder coated.
Cant wait to finish the other three and then spend forever torquing down bolts lol

Peterbuilt84

Nice :smokin: Keep us updated on how those diy beadlocks hold up.

Dingman.

I will.   I had a set of weld on beadlocks and they were fine.  They did cone in though, so it will be nice that he has those anti cone rings.
