hey mike just run 4 cases.... sorry i wimped out and went to bed at midnight, we were almost done tho, when are we gonna work on that 3rd?
'85 EFI X cab SR5. 42" Iroks, Dual ultimates etc.
'84 Std. cab  Yota, Chevy 4.3 swapped (makes v8's cry)
'88 4 Runner 39.5" Iroks FJ80 front, taco rear elockers dual ultimates
'07 Toyota Tundra crew max 5.7 (grocery getter/tow rig)
'14 Camry SE
SCX10 Honcho on roids!

We can work on that soon if u want to.  I gotta roll up to a buddys house and weld hos shock hoops on right now.  Maybe after that?

Thomas helped me get my transmission to my house today.  Once i get my other turbo case next week i can tear it apart and put my new trans in along with my cases.  :woohoo:

Okay so i have:

Newer transmission
23 spline turbo case will be crawl box
23 spline turbo case converted to top shift with longfield chromoly ouput as my rear case
Marlin adaptor
Inchworm v6 adaptor
Tg crossmember
And will be redoing my drivelines after.

Other than that is there any little things i need to get to have everthing working afterwards?
Im thinking about ordering a new clutch kit, but i dont know if i have the funds right now for that.
I at least need to get a new throwout bearing because mine makes noise.

I was told i do not need to buy a speedometer extension cable to have that working.   Still wondering if it would be a good idea.

Was planning on running two stock tcase mounts or is upgrading recommened?

I think thats everything i need, but any tips would be appreciated.

Run 2 stocks and start collecting them.......... they are easy to come by and ive been using 2 used ones since I built my rig and havent broken one....

 2 stockers is just fine. the ones i have  on mine have been in 3 different trucks in a dual case situation and they are still kickin

you have to always do them in sequence or else your gonna run into problems. either stock t case mounts and stock motor mounts or polly t case and motor mounts. all or nothing.

Hoping my other case gets here soon.

Cut up my spare driveline, gonna tear it down and clearance it tomorrow and get it ready to go.


Then hopefully i can put my cases and trans in this weekend and then make my drivelines and be done

Bought a napa clutch kit, and a new flywheel just now.  Anyone use this kit?  how do you like it?  Just to get rid of the marlin clutch kit i have now that chatters.

Printing off instructions now to go and make my crawlbox.

Damn snap ring pliers, broke them trying to get that fat snap ring over the coupler.  Ugh

Anyways here is the difference between stock 21 and 23 spline input gears.



Guess im gonna have to go replace those snap ring pliers at autozone tomorrow so i can finish my crawlbox.  Hell those ones werent even opening the snap ring all the way anyhow.

Unbolted my v6 tcase from my trans so thats ready to go.
Gonna take my parts into work tomorrow to get that snap ring on.

where did the dust cover for the pilot bearing go!?!?

Idk that was seized, the shaft that goes through the clutch into that bearing had play.
