It was dumb. We waited for 45 min and no one moved so we messed around on yh way back and then went down powellton. The snow was dialed down lower and we pretty much broke our own trail.

I appreciate it kasey but im going to have to hold out for right now. I dont have the money for that at the moment. 

I was just gonna tear apart my axle and inspect the damage but our damn floor jack is suddenly broken.  So im apparently going to have to buy a new jack on top of everything else

I might just weld the holes shut and run it.  Im on a really limited budget.

Anyone got any deals on a top shift case?   I still need to source two and buy everything but drivelines.

I need to call Marlin in the am.  They sent me a 21 spline coupler instead of 23 I ordered

Hey Dingman, I just got my dual case adapter too but the first one i got had a fracture around the bottom bearing recess edge. You might want to check yours to see if there is any imperfections. I say that because even the second one Marlin swapped me for had a little crack as well but  the first one was pretty bad.

Your crack was pretty bad. Mine looks Good.

The most I have is tiny cast imperfections Most likely not a problem at all I would think

I may have a line on one from a first gen truck.  Hopefully that will be alright.  I'm not really sure on what year top case is best to use.

As of now I'm just planning on two stock cases.   Unless I get the urge to drop money for a 4.7 gear set.   Its not like that matters now anyways since everybody is sold out..  but I will have to buy two 23 input gears and Marlin is sold out which is unfortunate.

couple months back been broke as so i havnt gone wheelin at all and i really need to change the clutch before i do. but now i have the money for the clutch so ill be able to go wheelin pretty soon.

So i spent the evening fixing my front axle.  Might be amusing to you guys also.  

After work i headed home, jacked the truck up and started dissembling everything to pull my diff because i wanted to be able to order gears from work tomorrow if i needed to.  Pull the passenger side apart and it went smoothly, other than fighting those cone washers which was weird because i never have a problem with them, but when i pulled the driver side knuckle off my upper trunion was rusted or all corroded, im not really sure, so i had to replace that one. pull the diff out expecting to find that one bolt that backed out and punched the holes in my axle, and to my surprise.......................................






That was how many bolts were floating around in the bottom of the housing.    
And to my surprise my ring and pinion looked untouched\



As you can see some of the holes got kinda messed up, but i just hammered the raised parts back down and lock-tighted EVERY bolt..  Its amazing people don't use lock-tite in the first place.  Then welded the holes in my housing
shut and assembled everything. Yes thats pretty ghetto, but.... im gonna run it, cause i sure as hell am not going to pay 700+ on another arb.


i have 4 wheel drive again!      well technically 3wd cause the rears open. lol

Just got done fixing my oba so that works again and got a few new led rocklights gonna mock them up and ill get pictures. Brighter than the vision x tantrum kit I had which doesn't work anymore.
