Needs a little work,  but so far i absolutely love the diesel. :)

bro i hate you, thats the truck i want. is it a 5spd?

Peterbuilt84

Diesel looks like a good find. How long have you had it? Been looking at an older diesel for a dd/ tow pig.

yota_krawler

its a 91' 5 speed just got it friday, it was my dads. he bought it in 97' tow package, all stock, air bags all around.

Im sad to see it go but its to one of my best buds so thats good. I can keep tabs on it lol. Im glad you like it mike.

Dingman.

It is nice.  Love the way it sounds.

91 5-speed, 4wd, has around 300k miles on it.  It's not perfect and needs some work but i like it.
So far the list i have is.
Needs new brakes,
Needs oil and filters changed,
Will need tires pretty soon,
wang to do exhaust,
Want to replace windshield and passenger side mirror, both are cracked pretty badly.
Need to fix speedometer,
Want to add guages, (pyro, oil pressure, maybe tach)
Maybe after that ill play around with fuel pump a little.

I do like it though, hopefully some of those mods will come with time,

I dunno.

Dingman.

Ended up rotating the fuel pin this afternoon.  Also smacked a ton of dirt out of the air filter in an attempt to half ass clean it until i can buy a new one.

God its amazing how something so easy to do makes it that much more fun to drive.

Honestly it might just be me, but it really feels like the power increases from rotating that fuel pin.   Blows out some decent smoke now if you get it.   Gotta try to keep my foot out of it :gap:.

Next step is oil and filter change, fuel filter, and guages after that.  Then maybe a little more tweaking to the pump.

Jud

You can mess with that pump, advance the timing and get a good amount of power out of it. Small "Bigger" Injectors are cheap for those and make a decent difference. You can also shave the fuel pin to increase fuel.
