DTB, just weld some angle iron over the crossmember. then you have a square mount to have the bolt heads rest against.

I'm liking that idea..thanks BD...we'll see..
Did you rotate the box up some for extra clearance?
ya i did rotate it up a little. I figured out what im gonna do with the rear driveshaft for now. Im gonna make some spacers for the carrier bearing to lower it about an inch and I'm gonna shorten the stock rear shaft. After I dual case it I will run a one piece shaft
Good thinking! So how long till ya go duals? Are you still gonna be 4.88 with the swampers?
dude, weld some 2x2 tube between the frame railsand send me those hoops
yea they need to be hooked together, but i not sure you'll get the flex you want like that, not without having a REALLY long travel shockbut on my truck that round crossmember is directly over the axle so my shocks are mounted there from the factory, but with the 2 inch body lift i could make a bracket to raise them another 6 inches to just under the bed floor
Michael, do you EVER check your email
I don't know if I would go anywhere near the junkyard with that trailer. It might accidentally get picked up by the magnet and crushed
