I suppose with it being wireless and all  you would probably have to run switches to turn the cameras on and off
that is correct sir! If this one works out well I may add another..my only concern so far is what happens when the thing gets covered in mud or submerged in water..i'll find out i guess and let u guys know

theres gotta be something in the fine print of the warrenty about it

i doubt when they were made they were ment to be under a rock rig getting the :pokinit: beat out of it in all fun and games... there might be a loop hole though that you will be able to get by and get new cams if this one breaks or malfunctions

Rocksurfer

I wonder how they are going to survive the vibrations and shock that wheeling is going to put on them?

My buddy is running one of those on the rear license plate frame on his Jeep and he loves it! I don't believe he has had any problems with it either. He said he submerged it in a mud hole once and it's still working!

i like the wireless   remember it's going in the work truck f550 utility body  so wiring will be a pain /  quick removal  but good eye  i was more concerned with the pic on the web site is different then what DTB had posted

oh thats cool...i hadnt even noticed that one....the only difference I can see is that it is wired instead of wireless...but thats fine...u have to run wires for the monitor and camera anyways...would probably have a better signal if it wasnt wireless..

joe, remember the camera isnt completely wireless..there are 12v power wires..

I would be curious to see how well the night vision actually works...I have tested the one I have at night driving around the street and it is fairly bright just lit from the streetlights above...I was surprised...u can always turn the rock lights on if u cant see

I'm thinking of building a tube bed something like this>> I like the basket design, fenders and down tubes. It seems very functional and simple to build as well.

I vote for the long bars
i kinda like them too..the security guard here said it makes it look like a military hummer ( I dont know if thats good or bad)   The short bars make it look more "trucky" with a pseudo-bed
