yeah seems there is alot of un needed crap(strobing/master control box) for just rock lights. They do look bright but with 15 I would hope so.

I have about 4 of the superbrightleds and roundeyes 1luxon lights Im going to try out. figure I will need at least 6 to be benificial

DTB

I'm thinking the strobes might help me fit in with the Hummers on the mall parking lot :dunno:

i already have 6 and what i did to make it east was run one wire of 18 gauge down the frame rail and then to connect the lights i just took my knife and cut off the rubber coating so i have bare wire exposed, then took the + from the light and wrapped it around the 18, then electrical taped it up and grounded it to the frame and it works tits... so when i get a  few more i just have to mount, strip, tape and ground and its good to go.... if that doesnt make sense ill take pics when i add a few more lights...super easy and simple

DTB

yes, that does make sense, silly...I would use some quick splice connecters like these...then u dont even have to strip the wire

Ditton on the easy splice those things are awesome!!!   I used those in my car and the best thing is you can tap into anything and if you dont want to use it anymore you just pull out the accessory wire and it still looks good, and no electrical tape to worry about coming off... Good call on both of your parts!!

You guys are crazy! It has 8 PODS and each POD has 15 leds in it. Not 15 pods to wire!!  Im thinking about shaffers kit now because that a sweet deal compared to roundeyes 30$ leds. Even comes with a wireless remote and the lights strobe with your music beats freaken bling bling!!

It seems the big difference with the Shaffers kit is that they're already wired - you only have to route the wiring to where you want them. They run off a cigarette lighter plug-in, so that's something else to consider. Remote control... Umm... Anti-bling movement DTB??? :haha:

You could always cut off the cig adapter and run it through a relay or a switch to keyed power...

He lost his Anti-bling status with the camera. He has been banned from the Anti-bling movement for life when he did that. Now he's adding L.E.D.'s so he can see with his camera a major bling move there.
