I want to make a front bumper and I got this plate to start off of.....any paint experts out there design me a new bumper?

I want to make something similar to this, except this design doesnt look very strong to me on the outer edges near the fenders so I would like a bar that connects (under the headlight) back to the shock hoop. Here's a couple pics to work with..lets see what u guys got!

its the street I'm parked on...its a steep downhill...its actually pretty close to square to the truck...good enough for now

DTB, as usual you impress me with your idea's, can I make one suggestion! Through trial and error I found the mounting bolts of the winch to plating should align with the frame, to keep from stressing the hardware and possibly bending framing.
As I noted 'my' error resulted in bending the frame/ cross member and pulling the hardware through, requiring some plating and welding.  
Just a thought, keep up the good work and post more pics with your progress.

looks like you need a  bar of 3/8 x 1inch  across the hanger  to make it sit  perfectly square,   then  build your bumper

its just for mock up right now (see the c-clamps holding it on)...its getting welded square on the frame and secured very well..dont worry..

ya he offered to but he never made it down to Arkansas......its ok though, I think I can handle it
