ive got marlin arms and they started to rust. i caught it and painted them, after they were on the truck. dont paint w/o the cone washers in.

I was laughing because aluminum corrodes NOT rusts, but corrusion is aluminums rust. If ya get it. you can get them anidized or powder coated.  But yes they will corrode bare.

lol yea im working...ill try to get some pics tomorrow....almost got the axle hung i think im gonna have to drop a section of the exhaust to get to the inside of the driver framerail so i can cut the frame hole. im using a 90 degree drill..is there an easier way to do this (besides a torch lol) ?? also does anyone have a pic of how they moved/mounted their steering box. im sure im gonna have to cut out part of the body/radiator mount....im sure i know how to do it but just would like to see a pic...thanks guys!

I built a set of breathers for 12 dollars each. 5.00 for the fitting, 2 dollars for the filter and 5 dollars for the hose. These Nissan fittings are pretty sweet. Im gonna weld a small piece of round tube on top to protect it from breaking off.

Alright man some progress good to see, i got those same breather tubes from Nissan (PART# 38323-C6010) nice replacement for the Toyota cap breather.

Also I'm sure you where going to but a zip tie or hose clamp around the rubber fuel line will keep them from comming off, also good choice on using the gas line for the breather tube, i used vacuum line and it started to crack from the salt on the roads gas line is better quality stuff for sure.

cutting frame holes (not fun) the gussets on the outside passenger framerail were PITA's!!! 

this helped a little bit

the shackle angle looks a little like 90* to me. Those springs should settle some though. Make shure you allow for the springs settling when mounting your shocks. Now would be a good time to cycle the suspension, just install the axle loosely with just the main leaf and cycle those springs some for shock measurements and clearance measurements. Be careful not to knock that truck off the jack stands.
