That appears to be one of the higher output models. I'll be interested to hear what you think of it's performance.

I will be using this solely for front ARB. I will be eliminating electrical solenoid.

Quite a pain in the arss to do on mine. How was yours? I'm still running the modified chilkat brackets. Maybe the tos are better for clearance on that bottom bolt?

piece of cake, in and out in 5 minutes, There's enough room to get the nut off. just needed to get a shorter belt, because i went with slightly smaller pulley for better amps at idle

T cases are out. Transmission is next. Working alone this was a better option spitting trans from cases

Why are we taking the transmission out?

Mudder [08:28 PM]:   not try to be a jerk, but are you serious bestgen?
Prismo [06:11 PM]:   Done, time to relax or as Bestgen says....FREEDOM!
HogCanyonHopper [06:54 PM]:   I like my little rod. it gets the job done

OVRAROK

Used a 2x4 inside the cab, that with a tie down strap, holding rearward part of trans. I little wiggle on the bellhousing, falls right out. Will reverse procedure going in

I know it sounds dumb. But please change that pilot bearing. When I killed the 1st w56 on my 3rz swap I had about 18k on it. Clutch got warrantied just because but my lazy arss didnt change the pilot bearing because it wasn't that old. Bad idea. I ended up replacing it s few months later.  :hammerhead:

I leave no stone unturned. I replaced rear main seal, as well as pilot bearing before installing new MC clutch, along with .026 step on flywheel. Transmission is back in. I used the bread trick to get pilot bearing out. With the help of bestgen4runner I was able to quickly clarify the flywheel torque specs, thanks chris. Tomorrow, I will install t cases.

So...., not wanting to buy oem tcase mount I did what most would do, order through Amazon. Bought 2 "Pioneer" brand. None of the holes matched up, go figure. Contacted amazon, they immediately refunded my money, I contacted company that was third party seller on Amazon to ask, what do you want to do about return shipping. Gentleman on the other side of the phone told me to keep them. So then I reached out to a somewhat local 4x4 shop, hoping that some QC would be better, I specifically asked if holes could be checked. Was assured they all where up to standard. Welp..., wouldn't you know it. Wrong again. So after doing my research I settle on another off brand, with great luck. They fit like a charm. I got t cases back in, and have almost 200 miles on new clutch. I was hearing a new strange noise. Ended up being rear leaf spring bushings. Banged out the old metal/rubber/metal bushings, and currently waiting on urethane ones to arrive. While I'm waiting on bushing I decided to make new center console

The Marlin HAD mount works great. I have two in my 83.
