There is a couple different threads on pirate about doing it. It involves getting a donor panel from another truck. Custom wheel wells and much more.

my dial up doesn't like pirate, takes almost a half hour to load a page, looks like all they did was move opening of rear fenderwell rearward

Sounds very simple but there is a lot more to it than that to make it look that clean.

OVRAROK

think I'm going to move rear axle back 1.5" then re assess the rear departure angle, I'm just tired of rear bumper dragging

not suggesting that you do this, but have you seen a runner with the wheelbase extended? I'm not sure if I like it

After wheeling my bobbed 85 extended cab and now my 4Runner this looks to be the ultimate solution. If you have the skills (I suspect you do), do this. 4Runner interior with a longer wheelbase. Perfect!

Call it the "CJ-6" mod.

I thought you already had the correct heater valve?

Look up Zidaro's build on this site.  I think he calls his 4runner Gumby.

So I noticed that my chilkat mounts aren't perfect. Passenger side needs to be raised a tad, my solution was these

I don't know what it took to make those, but you should make more. I bet there are a few boys on the forum that would love a set. $$

So... As it turns out, these shims didn't work as expected, but there are these tabs that the motor mount rest on. they are on the frame side of motor mount, was able to loosen bolts, lift motor, and play with these tabs, ended up pushing passenger side up, and got a lot of movement from banging down drivers side, motor settled in nicely. And you always have to have a helper

Crank sensor, oil pressure. I'm hunting for maf right now. I may be bringing spare 23 spline t case just in case, have stock front axles stashed under rear seat delete, trying to make a functional compartment under rear seat delete. There's a lot of wasted space under there .Hoping to hold all my spares, shy of t case and third

I did the same wheel base stretch that was previously mentioned. Mine is not as pretty as others but it works! Gave me a 112WB, with a much more manageable departure angle. I highly suggest this if you have the skills/ time!

You can see some of it in my build on page 19. Not the build process but some of the after. I had grafted a donor panel onto the existing body and moved the axle back +/- 6"

You are welcome to take a look at it in +/- 3 weeks
