I had ordered some weldable pipe fittings to use for the exhaust manifold, but as always they didn't show up when they were supposed to.  :tantrum:

I remade the motor mounts with the mounts from the buggy. Now the engine won't move at all. I only hope the viberations from the diesel aren't too bad. :crossed:

Yea, I know, but it will have to wait. I need to have it together for next weekend and there isn't enough time to deal with all the little things. I had hoped to have the exhaust manifold done this weekend and now that isn't going to happen.

My parts showed up today for the exhaust manifold, but I feel like  :pokinit: so I'm not going to work on it tonight. Those Tetinus shots can take it out of you.

I was working on the seat frame when the grinder wheel came apart in my hand.

I still need to shorten the back of the seat frame and drill some holes.

I put off the turbo install for later as there is a trail ride this Saturday. I got the seat frame modified for the extra gear box and will finish the floor tomorrow.

I still need to make the rear driveshaft and extend the air locker line. Then we go  :driving:

Time for an update.

I finally got the good air filter installed Friday before swimming in 4 feet of water on Saturday.

I cut the oil bath out and fitted a paper filter cartrage in to the housing.

This worked really well as the motor is still running.

I also played with the injection pump today and increased the fuel rate. It really puffs black smoke now and has a little better pickup at slower speeds. At higher speeds it just pours black smoke, but doesn't have any more power for more speed.

I am making the exhaust manifold for the turbo. The flanges are done and I am going to take the manifolds off tomorrow to start building the exhaust manifold.
