I'm all excited for you!  I just got done building another one of my "special" 22RE's for my buddies EFI conversion.  I know what the suspense must have been like waiting for that thing to move!

:haha: Figure of speech. OK I took it for a spin today to see how it all works and this is what I came up with so far.  The engine likes to rev and has fair to good acceleration. It has good low end torque, but lacks the power to overcome 5th gear. So my fear that it is too low geared is not true. If anything it is too high geared for the size tires and engine combo. There should be some tweaking that can be done to the engine to produce more power for highway speed. For slow speed it has plenty of torque even in high range so far. Still have not tried the four wheel drive.

I also found the cap on the fuel tank leaks like a sieve. There is fuel all over the floor and all over the side of the body. I guess I will need to find a better neck and cap to put on this tank.

This thing is by no means anywere near done yet, but I had to see how it works before I went any further.
