Any were you want.  Most people put them under the belly of the rig out of the way of the rocks though.  But it is user preference.

I guess we have to be there to experience it. If the lights are on the belly and the rocks are on the belly...:dunno:

Now you guys just messed up, this thing is too pretty to run through the rocks.

Is that going to make you guys soft?

Not wanting to damage something so pretty will effect the way you drive, don't you think?

who you callin' soft!  :muscles:

No worries mate!

It looks pretty in the picture, but it's not to the level of perfection that Mr Willy usually likes to produce.
It took all it could  :whip: to keep reminding him that it's just going to get dirty and dented and he didn't have to go to the usual extremes.
He may not be meticulous when it comes to keeping a neat shop but he is when it comes to his body work and paint jobs. :drooling:

So we won't have a bit of trouble sticking it in the mud or climbing rocks.  :driving: WOOHOO!  :biked: :bud:

So, Mr. Willy, what would you charge me to lay down a super-anal-retentive-detail-oriented pearl white paint job on my Supra?  The original paint is getting old, and needs an update.  I'm thinking 98-99 Lexus pearl white, as found on the GS400...

sorry mang, we're not in the biz anymore. Up until about 4-5 months ago there wasn't a day since we've known each other that we didn't have someone else vehicle to work on, when we finally got rid of that final project we locked the door and threw away the key. It's all about us now.  :beerchug: Play time!  :driving:  :burnout:

Damn.  There is not a singe person here in New Mexico that I'd trust to paint my baby.  I'll just have to learn and do it myself!  As for play time now, I say Good for You!  :beerchug:   You'll just have to bring that thing out here to NM to play!

Hopefully!  I've never done anything except rattle-can paint stuff.  I'd love to learn from a seasoned professional that will show me the correct way to do things- not the way to shortcut things and have them simply "work".  I want to spend all the time necessary to redo the bodywork and paint on the Supra correctly!

Well it's Sunday and there's no paint on the front end parts. :tantrum:  There is always more to a job than meets the eye. :hammerhead:  I did get the metal work done on the grill and two fenders.

Got to looking at the hood and I think it would be easier to make a new skin than it would be to patch it up. So tomorrow we are going to pickup a sheet of metal and make a new skin. Oh, BTW it's our 7 year anniversary so we are taking the day off to work of all things. :screwy:

If you haven't heard it was our 7 annervisery today and we played hookie to work on the Heep. :hammerhead:

Is this fender going to be attached to the axle? If so, aren't you worried about rock damage?
