 :popcorn: we got the body sanded and prepped this morning.
MrWilly is now in the "paint booth" getting ready to get color on it as we speak.
Too bad it's rainy out, maybe the sun will come out this afternoon and we can take a good look at the color on it. It's going to be blinding!

ACK I'M BLIND! MrW got the first coat on it, so I went out into the garage to check on it! WOW! That is YELLOW! and that's only the first coat! :banana:

it's hard to get a good shot in the garage...but here it is, this is the third coat ...lemon chrome yellow, it doesn't get much yellower then that, that's the tint yellow...Mr. Willy is going for a fourth coat in a minute.

the color doesn't look right in those pictures. I dont nkow if it's still raining, hopefully we can get the door opened up and get a shot in natural light.

Thank you! :yupyup: The sun never did come out enough to get a real good shot but we got it on the frame. Mr. Willy's posting the pics shortly! :thumbs: Now that it has color you can really envision it coming togethter. MrW has to do work to the fenders and hood, I'll get the body work done on them and get the grill stripped, those are the only original body parts. And we should have them painted next weekend! WOOHOO! :cheer: I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE BODY ALL TOGETHER IN YELLOW!! I wasn't sure about the color but with the black, and chrome it is going to look SICK!!!  :disturbed:  :eyebrow: :cheer:

this is like the kinda of truck you'd see on the cover of a 4x magazine, super unique.  i wouldn't mind seeing a writeup in petersens 4wheel.

DUDE! It has always been a dream that we would have something Peterson's worthy! We've subscribed to that for MANY years.  I didn't even think of it but you are right. :thumbs: We are meeting about all their criteria for a cover shot!! AND thanks to the Marlin site we have a running log on the build up!!! :banana: We have got to send them the specs on this when it's done and find a Petersons event to go to. YOU ALL ROCK!  :yupyup:
