Me eaither and  :dunno: I don't have a tack.
the best fuel economy is usually right around the rpm with the most torque with a diesel. most motors thats 1800rpm's. check where you reach maximum torque (probably right around there) and it should let you know what rpm to search for.

I do have a tack output on the harness, but don't know if it is a neg signal or what at this point.

So long as it has a rev limiter I shouldn't have to worry about a tack right now. There is still a lot of other stuff to do.

On our way back from Mark's parents place we took a shortcut... and we've been getting a lot of rain.
Mark got the oiled drained out to tear down the tranny and transfer case.

:nope: she means edgeimacate

Well, ahh, um, in my mad dash to get everything back together when putting in the new 23 spline gears, I kind of forgot to put one of the snap rings back in and the input gear was grinding into the case and causing the input bearing to lockup.

So that means I don't have to rebuild the trany right now.  :crossed:

I need to clean everything up and put it (ALL) back together and get it back in so I can test drive it again.

Oh, well.  I'll take it like that I guess.

Did you use only Ultra Grey to seal that thing? I STILL can't find something to seal mine up with.

I've heard of quick-change rearends in racecars...but never of quick-change tranny/transfercase combos in rockcrawlers!

You must be getting pretty efficient at moving parts around and in/out of that thing by now!
