No pictures, but I got all the lines hooked up for the winch and power steering. I tie strapped the power steering cooler to the inside of the grill for now.

I bent up a new fuel line from the tank to the fuel filter that is mounted beside the transmission above the crossmember and to the injection pump.

Haven't run the return line yet, but did start connecting the clutch lines.

It's not going to be ready for Thursday night, but maybe we can test drive it this weekend.

The exhaust still needs to be run and the trans has to come out again. Still need to tie in the brain to the existing electrial system and a list of other little stuff before it is ready.

Yeah I remember going from Calico to Big Bear, we were chugging diesel all day, I'm still a little typsy from all that diesel we were guzzling.

Man i have been reading this for 3 days now and i need to know is where you learned these fab skills and how long you been doing this for. And as long as i have been around the automotive industry i thought my dad was one hell of a fabricator but you make him look silly  :eyecrazy: :eyecrazy: keep up the good work and i hope that my rig will be able to look and work as good as yours take care good build :beerchug:           :respect:

Sorry for the 3 days, but sounds like you enjoyed it.

Thanks for the compliments, I have been modifying things for  :headscratch: , well lets just say since I was still wet behind the ears.

A square peg does fit in a round hole and don't let anybody tell you differant.

This thing may not be the most capable trail rig, but it should be one of the most unique.

I have always had to be differant and nobody builds things the way I want them, so I modify almost everything I get my hands on.

You should ask my dad about the adding maching some time, you know the ones with all the gears.

I don't know...it seems fairly capable to me...IF I HAVE MY CAMERA READY!
IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

I just got done pulling the Tcases off the trans to find out why it would not shift into 1st and 3rd. Turns out the main shifter shaft was hitting the T case and not letting it go in past the syncros.

A little clearancing later and it is ready to go back in. Note the snap ring, I had to cut it too cause the shaft just misses the bearing. I put roll pins to keep it from turning and getting in the way.

Sorry for the fuzzy picture, too late to take another one as it is all back together.
